  Remarks:
  • The total surface-atmosphere flux is given by the sum of the 3 flux variables (i.e., there is no double counting among these 3 variables).
    However, co2flux_excl is zero throughout the period of validity.
  • The time of any flux record denotes the instantaneous time when the smooth curve is sampled (or the mid of the monthly interval, respectively).
  • Only use fluxes during the period of validity. The NetCDF file contains the full time period of the inversion, also comprising spin-up and spin-down years to be discarded for most applications.
