CO2 concentration on the institute roof
The local CO2 concentration on the roof of the institute has been recorded since Feb 27, 2008. Measurements are made with an Li-Cor LI-6262 infrared analyser, which is daily calibrated. 10-minute averages are stored and available from the data sheets of the institute weather station.
The system is documented in the bachelor thesis of Dominic Clement [2008]:
The following graphs are updated daily. Daily averages are computed from the lowermost 5% quantile of all 10'-averages recorded during a day. The blue curve fitted to the daily averages consists of an interannually varying smooth function (dashed line) with a superimposed seasonal cycle consisting of 4 harmonics. Some of the graphs show also the updated monthly observations from the Mauna Loa station in Hawaii operated by the Scripps CO2 group
