@Bratislava, 2008

I am from Kathmandu, Nepal.

I have been in Japan since 2007, first completing my PhD in Civil Engineering from Oki lab (the University of Tokyo) in 2010, March and then working as a researcher in Kanae lab (Tokyo Institute of Technology) until 2011, September. Since 2011, October, I am a researcher in Hirabayashi lab (the University of Tokyo)

The major field of my research is hydrology and water resources. I am currently working on global-scale land surface modeling focusing on the groundwater process and its effect in land surface hydrology. I wish to improve land surface parameterization in such a way that the major hydrological processes are represented in a realistic manner, and it has capability of simulating hydrological cycle in regional to global spatial scales.
