Staying in touch, no matter how long ago your time at the institute, is important to us.
In the summer of 2022, we celebrated our 25th anniversary. This was a great opportunity to meet again, share memories and celebrate together. 
We continue to look forward to sharing experiences, establishing scientific collaborations or talking with former colleagues.

Who becomes an alumni?

All former scientific and non-scientific staff members, all diploma students, doctoral students, scholarship holders and PostDocs as well as visiting scientists with a duration of stay of six months or more count as our alumni.

Max Planck Symposium for Alumni and Early Career Researchers

Every year, the Max Planck Society organizes a symposium for former scientists and young researchers, which takes place in Berlin in the Harnack House.
